This Privacy Policy explains how Wilds AI handles your information. Our core philosophy is simple: Your data is yours, and we don't want it.
1. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data. All chat extraction and JSON generation are performed locally within your browser's sandbox.
2. Data Usage
The extension accesses the text content of your chats on Character.ai and AI Dungeon solely for the purpose of allowing you to export that data. This data is processed in-memory and is never sent to our servers or any third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your exported chats are handled by your browser's download manager or your system's clipboard. We do not maintain any logs, databases, or copies of your exported files.
4. Third-Party Services
This extension interacts with Character.ai and AI Dungeon to extract text. We are not affiliated with these platforms, and this policy does not cover how those platforms handle your data. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.
5. Permissions Disclosure
To function, the extension requires certain permissions:
- activeTab / Scripting: To read the text on the page you choose to export.
- Downloads: To save the JSON file to your computer.
- Storage: To remember your basic extension preferences (if any).
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes that affect how we handle data, we will provide notice through the extension interface.
